International Institutional Relationships
Since its inception in October 1994, the OIPS has been instrumental in securing formal agreements between UAH and a number of foreign institutions. On behalf of UAH, the Provost has signed agreements with the following institutions:
Minsk State Linguistics University (Belarus)
Belarussian State University (Belarus)
Institute of Business Management (Ukraine)
Krasnoyarsk State University (Siberia, Russia)
Nanking T.V. University (China)
Rostov State University (Russia)
Southern Russia State Technical University (Russia)
Tver State University (Russia)
Ocean University of Qindao (China)
Novocherkassk State Technical University (Russia)
Tavrida National University (Crimea, Ukraine)
Uzhgorod State Institute of Information Sciences, Economics and Law (Ukraine)
Tashkent State Agrarian University (Uzbekistan)
Tashkent State University of Economics (Uzbekistan)
People’s Friendship University of Russia (Sochi)
Crimean National Liberal Arts Institute (Crimea, Ukraine)
Navoi State Pedagogical Institute (Uzbekistan)
Gavar State University (Armenia)
These agreements have allowed the OIPS to perform an instrumental role in the conduct of various academic programs. As a result, active environmental research and education activities are presently underway in southern Russia; similar discussions are currently in progress with institutions in Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
The OIPS also had an official representative for UAH on the campus of Belarussian State University and Minsk State Linguistic University. The representative served to disseminate information regarding UAH academic programs and assist Belarussian students who wished to study at UAH. This office no longer active. The OIPS has also translated UAH brochures and videos into the Russian and Korean languages.
